Robbie appeared on Show #75 when he was 11 years old and in the 6th grade. He attended Hercules School and enjoyed bike riding, collecting fish and playing video games. Games Played: Moon Patrol, Wacko, Mappy, and for the Grand Prize, Bally's Journey. Graplop was the game not played on the show. Grand Prize: Sinistar video arcade game |
Reason Robbie wanted to be on STARCADE: "To win a video game if I can and to be on TV. Prizes won: a Spectravideo computer, a TI Computer & an Air Cleaner (Trion). Robbie beat his opponent with a total score of 11,800 and played Bally's Journey for the grand prize...but he ran into some bad luck and scored a shattering 60 points ... he needed 1614 to win Sinistar. |
Robbie's STARCADE memory: "Wow, this is so cool! I felt tingles up my spine when I got your postcard. This really brings back some awesome memories. Did you know that the contestant that I played and defeated (Steve Issacs) was a MTV host for a while in the mid 90's? I'm still really into the old arcade classics and hope to buy the whole laser disc collection of games. Always keep up the good work." |
