Contestant: Susan & Jeffrey Bierman

Jeffrey was an avid Starcader! back in '83. When he auditioned for STARCADE!, he said he wanted to be on the show "because I like to play video games and I always watch STARCADE!"

His Mom Susan came with him to the auditions and was persuaded to be on the show with Jeffrey because, as she said, "both my sons want me to."

Jeffrey was 9 in '83 when his STARCADE! show was taped. Susan was a Elementary School Principal.

Susan & Jeffrey were a great team ... but as luck would have it, the first game they played was a high scoring game ... Bubbles ... and they got behind the other team by 10,000 points. They won the 2 games that followed but  not enough to make up the 10,000 points.

They didn't win many prizes but they were still great contestants!

Jeff checked in to tell us that today, "I am a computer engineer with my own company, Steadfast Engineering."

"Interestingly enough, I am part owner of a  company, Core Concepts that does computer game design."
