John Santo Jr. and his Dad,
John Santo played as a team ... and what a team ... they won it all
... a White's Metal Detector, a Mattel computer, a Scisys Electronic Chess

John Santo Jr was 11 years
old and in the 6th grade when we taped show #84 in July 1983. His ambition
was to grow up and be a stuntman. John Jr. said he played video
games in an arcade named the Funny Farm. His favorite game was Q*Bert.
His hobby was collecting
Star Wars figures, playing video games and chess.
He said his job was:
'being me.'

John Santo was
a Production Manager for KUSK TV in Prescott (not a station showing
STARCADE!). The most interesting thing about Dad on the day of the taping,
according to him was, "I made it to San Francisco without getting a
ticket!" They drove from Prescott, Arizona.
The Santo team was a
'dynamic' one ... winning big on Show #84.
